Ryan is a Barrister, Solicitor & Notary Public called to the Ontario Bar and a member in good standing of the Law Society of Ontario, and his path there was anything but ordinary. He completed high school a full year ahead of schedule, then went on to York University and Western University, graduating with distinction from both. From there he was accepted into Osgoode Hall Law School — one of Canada's most respected law schools — where he graduated in the top 10 percent of his class before being called to the bar.

In 2008, that record earned Ryan a recruitment offer from a prestigious law firm in New York City, where he spent two years immersed in high-level international litigation. It was formative experience most Ontario lawyers never get, and Ryan brought it home.
